  • How long are the sessions?
    The initial evaluation is a 2 hour, head-to-toe assessment. Follow up sessions are 1 hour long.
  • Do you only help people who are in pain or injured?
    No, Dr. Leo truly believes movement is medicine and he enjoys working with people throughout all stages of their healing journey. This means you don’t have to have an active injury or be in pain to benefit from our approach. Dr. Leo’s greatest joy is getting/keeping people out of pain, optimizing their foundation, and watching them excel to new levels of health and performance that they didn’t believe were possible.
  • What if Physical Therapy failed me before?
    Dr. Leo has seen many clients who were failed by traditional physical therapy. Traditional physical therapy tends to focus on the area of pain, whereas Dr. Leo determines the ROOT cause as to why you have pain in the first place and treats that. This is why the traditional approach has failed many people.
  • Do you teach weightlifting mechanics?
    Yes. Dr. Leo has spent hours in the gym and has over 15 years of experience with weightlifting as well as taking various courses and certifications on proper weightlifting technique. Dr. Leo is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
  • Are all of your sessions 1-on-1?
    Yes. All of your sessions will be 1-on-1 with Dr. Leo, as he believes true quality care can only emerge in this environment. This allows us to spend more time with you, to give you EXACTLY what you need and take the guessing out of making progress.
  • Do you take insurance?
    While we do not directly take insurance, as we are an out of network provider, we will gladly provide a super bill which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
  • What if I am not an "active individual”?
    You don’t have to be a gym rat or have an extensive athletic background to be a good fit to work with us. Dr. Leo’s ideal client is anyone who is open minded, truly wants to get better and is ready to put the work in. If that sounds like you, let’s go! If you know you are not going to do the work, you are probably not a good fit to work with us.
  • Do you offer Dry Needling?
    Yes, Dr. Leo is fully certified and up to date on the latest Dry Needling techniques.
  • Hands on Work:
    At the Wellness Arena, we strongly believe everyone can benefit from some form of hands-on therapy. We might be using our hands, cupping, needles or a combination of all. Freeing up tension to allow you to move better is what we do best.
  • Whole Body Approach:
    Have you ever tried working on an area of pain and it didn’t work? We have all tried this method and it often doesn’t give us the results we are looking for. At the Wellness Arena, we consider the inter-relatedness of everything head to toe and formulate your game plan based on what you need. It’s often something you never would have expected.
  • A Program Designed for YOU:
    Everyone is starting from a different place and has different goals, so why should you be doing the same cookie cutter program? At the Wellness Arena, we craft our treatment and performance game plan based on you.
  • Performance Physical Therapy:
    Is this the same as “regular” PT? Not even close. Performance PT is the PT you didn’t realize you needed. We utilize the latest research, combining multiple treatment methodologies to help create a better and stronger you than ever before. We are always going to be pushing you forward, so come ready to improve. We expect nothing less. We have a fully equipped gym and will often use kettlebells and barbells to help you heal.   • Postural Assessment:
    Everyone know’s posture is sort of important, right? But what even is good posture and how do you obtain it? At the Wellness Arena, we have you covered and will make sure you are doing everything you need to be resilient through life.
  • Dry Needling:
    Think this is just like Acupuncture? Think again. Totally different approach and game changing results.
  • 1-On-1 Sessions:
    You get 100% attention from your Doctor for 60 minutes! With this luxury, you can ask all the questions you have, form a relationship and make sure you are doing exactly what you need to succeed!
  • What exactly is the “Wellness” Piece?
    There are multiple aspects of health that need to be addressed in order to obtain optimal wellness. Not only will we help you strength train and develop a program specifically for you and your workouts, we will also get into your eating habits, sleep routines, breathing mechanics, stress-levels, lymphatic system and gut-brain-connection. We believe health is like an onion, if we only consider the superficial layer, we completely miss the deeper layers and leave your health to chance.
